My name is Ahmed Abuhjar. I am a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (VLSI design) at University of Southern California. During my academic journey, I worked on multiple projects related to analog and digital VLSI design from which I equipped myself with technical dexterity and got an understanding of how technology works to cater the needs of the customers. Among my VLSI design projects are designing a highly sensitive temperature sensor, and designing an integrated circuit that calculates the average and standard deviation of reading samples relayed from sensors of an IoT network system. My senior design project was designing IoT Environmental Monitoring system from which I got the inquisitiveness to deep dive into how technology can help farmer markets.
Academic aside, I love sports. Soccer being my all-time favorite. Photography and playing the piano are among my hobbies. I also enjoy reading about countries and take particular interest in their geographies. Feel free to shoot me an email or reach out to me on LinkedIn if you'd like to talk!
